The retired couple that lives in this home with an attached garage had been wintering in Florida for many years. This year they decided to stay in Vermont and sell their home in Florida. Estimating their electric consumption is tricky since they haven't been here year-around. They decided to install solar on their garage and sun porch for now. There is room to expand the system at a later time if their need is greater than estimated. Since we utilize Enphase micro inverters, adding to the system is easy. Starting conservatively means less chance of lost credits since one month's production credits are only available to the homeowner for one year.
